Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers supply of silico manganese, ferro manganese, ferro chrome, ferro silicon and minerals by SRK Ferro Private Limited, for delivery within India and for export.

2. Packing

• 1 ton jumbo bags.
• 50 kg jute bags.
• Other packing only where agreed in writing before dispatch.

Lump size is made as per the requirement in the order.

3. Delivery terms

Each order states its delivery term, such as FOB, CFR, CIF or ex-works, and the destination. The term decides who arranges and pays for transport, insurance and customs, and when risk passes to the buyer.

4. Dispatch and timelines

We confirm the expected dispatch date with the order. Dates are estimates unless stated as firm. We will tell you promptly if a delay is likely. Delays caused by force majeure, port or transport disruption, or late payment or documents from the buyer are not breaches by us.

5. Documents

Shipment paperwork is prepared for each order, such as commercial invoice, packing list and transport document, and other documents agreed in the order, for example a test report. Tell us your document and inspection requirements when you enquire.

6. Inspection before dispatch

Our laboratory tests material before it leaves. If you want third-party inspection or sampling, say so in the enquiry so it can be agreed, with costs as stated in the order.

7. Receiving goods

Check the goods on receipt against the order and documents. Note any damage, shortage or mismatch on the delivery receipt and tell us in writing as set out in our Cancellation, Returns and Claims Policy.

8. Export and import

The buyer is responsible for import licences, duties and local requirements unless the delivery term says otherwise. We follow Indian export rules and applicable sanctions laws.
